Super nice service, very, very tasty and freshly prepared food. A star belongs to the chef !!! Waiting time a bit long, but due to Corona we all have a little longer time and are used to waiting! We'll definitely be back! We drove here from Schwerte especially.

We were lucky in May that we got a table and were told straight away that we would have to wait 1.5 hours. The wait was worth it. Very nicely presented, delicious food and very friendly staff! 👍😊

The food was okay but the staff wore mouth and nose protection under their noses or even under their chin! As a risk person, I feel very uncomfortable and will not come back until the Corona Protection Ordinance is complied with.

Unfortunately, after a walk around the dam on a sunny Wednesday around 2.30 p.m., we only made it to the entrance, where we and other willing people were turned away by the waiter after waiting 10 minutes: the kitchen was overwhelmed. A piece of cake? A cup of coffee? No, it really doesn't work. So we went back past the empty tables on the terrace. Support for gastronomy in Corona times? Always happy, but she must also want to. The "Gasthaus" Plessen will have to do without us. Never again!

Eternal waiting times and underground service. The soup came after about 1 hour. After 30 minutes with empty drinks, going to the counter was faster. 4 people got 1 wrong soup and 1 wrong main course. It wasn't really crowded. There were 4 tables for 3 waiters. In addition, the masks were only worn under the nose, if at all, and the soap was all in the men's toilet. Food really delicious, but that doesn't help if it arrives completely late or wrong.

Very good food with large portions, all freshly prepared. Only the waiting time was a bit long, which I am happy to accept with such a fresh, delicious meal.

Only 1 star, as the service was very slow. It took about 45 minutes for the cappuccino and cake to arrive (order taking after 20-25 minutes). It was delicious, but it came with cream that was not ordered. So bring a lot of time.

The food was delicious and well presented to the eye. The table reservation worked without any problems. Price / performance ratio top. Gladly again.

We went there for the first time today and were very impressed with the fresh meals. Where can you get home-style German cuisine today without the food being mushy or the restaurants having their prime behind them? The food is a bit long in coming, but I also go out to eat to have a nice chat. The service is very courteous and extremely friendly. Especially when you consider that he was the only waitress that evening. We loved it and will be back in the future.

A long wait for drinks and food (like on the last visit). The food came so staggered that the first in our group was ready when the last got her meal. The terrace is very nice and the food prepared with a lot of effort. But that couldn't save the evening either.

In advance great hike around the dam and then stopped at Haus Plessen. The service and the food were excellent, we were not the last time here.

After reading the many negative reviews, my girlfriend and I returned with mixed feelings. The order was quickly taken by the friendly waiter and the drinks came quickly. We had to wait a little longer for the food. The waiting time was shortened with a vegetable soup, a greeting from the kitchen. The food was freshly prepared, very tasty and wonderfully presented on the plate. WE WILL BE BACK.

In itself a very nicely located restaurant would be a good place to linger after a walk. Unfortunately, the service is underground. First nobody comes to take the order, then after almost 30 minutes the cake finally comes, but no trace of the coffee. After the cake was eaten without coffee, we ordered the invoice, which did not come. So leave money at the table. We can definitely not make a recommendation.

We were there on Friday evening with 4 people, service was very very friendly and courteous. The food was great. The optical arrangement on the plates was very pretty. The quality of the products was great. All in all very recommendable.

After a walk a good starting point for good German cuisine with a beautiful view. Waiting times are slightly longer than normal.

Very friendly service, entertaining chef and very tasty schnitzel! How beautifully often the service was not the fastest. But if I want speed, I would go to McDonalds. If you have time and want to enjoy high quality food in peace, I can highly recommend this restaurant!

On my travel back to my home country after 20 years me and my family had one evening and dinner here and we sure had a blast. The waiter was a young Turk and he went above and beyond to make us happy. The food was amazing but the best was talking to the boss and his daughter. She paints each plate with food colours herself and showed us how she does it. The Patron was very entertaining and sure the sould of the business. We loved every second of our stay and I would sure be a regular here if I would live in the vecinity. Sure, it is slightly more expensive but the location demands that. Go for it!!!
